Men's Mental Health Support

Affordable, immediate one-to-one men's mental health support in Norwich and across the county of Norfolk.

"The importance of receiving mental health support is the key to helping a person avoid a life of suffering."

"Three out of four people who die by suicide are men."

"Men are more likely to experience issues with alcohol and substance abuse."

"Cultural differences and socio-economic disadvantages can also hinder men's ability to seek support."

"Men are significantly less likely to access help than women."

"Men are more likely to feel embarrassed or ashamed to speak about their mental health concerns, with stigma being a significant factor in their reluctance to seek help."

"1 in 8 men in England experience common mental health problems like anxiety and depression."

You are not alone!

A Mental Health First Aider, with extensive mental health support training, I can provide a listening ear - independent of friends, family and work colleagues - and can offer you one-to-one help and support with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Mental Health Challenges
  • Bereavement & loss
  • Sexuality
  • Loneliness
  • Separation and relationship difficulties
  • Work-related stress
  • Life changes
  • Money worries

However, I am not a therapist or counsellor, but believe mental health support should be available to everyone, not just for those who can afford it, so I charge just £25.00 per session (approx. 45 mins) in Norwich, and £35.00 across the rest of Norfolk. At present I only provide home/work/location (park, café etc) based visits, however I will be opening a studio base in Norwich shortly.

Home/Work based visits

I can visit you at a convenient time in the comfort of your home, or at your place of work.

Location based

Or we can meet at a safe and quiet location, e.g. park, café, etc.

Studio - AVAILABLE SOON

I will shortly be opening a walk-in studio in Norwich.

"Your mental health matters!"

Don't delay, don't despair, contact me now for further details and to arrange to meet.

ABOUT ME

CORPORATE SERVICE ...

By addressing mental health issues, businesses can significantly improve the general wellbeing of employees, reduce absenteeism and presenteeism, lower staff turnover, and increase productivity. If you run a business and are passionate about promoting positive mental health in the workplace, I can offer your employees  independent mental health support. Independence is the key, as many employees just don't feel able to discuss their personal life and mental health issues at work, or with work colleagues. Note: This is not a counselling service, but a support service for your workforce. Please contact me for further details.

I also provide mobile mental health support at events, festivals, concerts, community meetings, shows, sports events, business events etc., patrolling the location, chatting to attendees, promoting positive mental health, listening, supporting and signposting. Contact me for further details.
